This is my photoshop work and I think this went well as I made this with my handmade sketchbook by pulling out certain things. I am overall pleased with the work and how it has informed me to make the lino cute below.

Here is a collage that I made in photoshop with some of the work in my book that I had made then I played around with the colour corrections and levels and I ended up with this result and I am happy with how this piece came out it is weird and wonderful.

After the photoshop workshop I then came up with some ideas from if pinpointing certain areas of it to make a design for a lino cut in the end. This went well as it gave me some ideas for the following work.

After coming up with the designs I had I then transferred my favourite one to my lino piece and then cut it out using health and safety measures to ensure I wouldn't bring any harm to me or others.

After cutting it I then printed my first layer with yellow starting lightest and working my way up to a darker colour. After I printed I then gave it time to dry and cut my lino piece again removing an area that I wanted to keep yellow. Then I printed the blue after it was dry.
I am pleased with this work in general as it gave me an idea on what I would want my theme to be, using health and safety precautions led me to be more safe with the tools I used and the way that I used them.
In the above images I have sketched some rough designs up of tarot cards and then had developed them into more abstract modern day things relating to the individual cards, after lining the developed ones roughly with a marker I then enlarged certain ones into bigger pieces so that I could stick them together to make an abstract piece with four layers the way that I created this was by using the registration technique I enjoyed the finished look (below)...
Here is the finished look of the registration piece layer by layer. I like the final product of my work ,however, I would not do this again as it took too long and it was a frustrating piece to work with. I also made a print with tissue paper to give a piece of work more contrast, also on the above images there is a plain block black ink print that was just a trial and non developed piece of work from my original sketches.

Here are some experimental typography works, I didn't enjoy doing this however once I had finally got to grips with how to use the ink pen, I then figured out how to make it neater, and came up with the final go of typography in the pictures below.
The above and side photo is my final piece I am so happy with the outcome of these pieces, although if I where to do this again I would shade the background and foreground where the shadows would be to make it less flat toned than it is. It took me while to make as I have to get everything to be even and centred as well as drawing all the individual stones on the piece. However, I am pleased with the outcome.

These photos are of my developed tarot card that is a relief model I really enjoyed doing this as the carving was fun and so was the base painting as well as the dry brushing of the green and white giving it more depth and tone.

The left image is a 2D relief model and although I enjoyed the process of making this I wouldn't make another one out of cardboard as it was to fiddly and wouldn't stick together properly.

The left hand photo is a scene of a castle in a foamboard box. I made out foam that I cut on the wire cutter. I really enjoy using the wire cutter as its easy to cut, Also I enjoyed the layering of the work.

The castle above is made on the wire cutter again using different shapes and sizes, However, I decided I needed a wall to go round the outskirts of the castle, this meant I had to cut a very thin layer of the foam to make it more realistic, to make this stand up I used plastic fork prongs and weaved it in-between the fork. This came out really well and the process was really enjoyable. I learnt how to use the wire cutter safely after not using it for a few years.

Here is the developed piece of the work shown above, I have now painted it and dry brushed it with white and green as well as a lighter grey to give my work tone and highlights, my work also looks textured and I like this about my work. though this work I have learnt how to use materials when it limited and how to paint rough textures as well as smooth textures.

I have made some pieces of experimental work using modroc and paper mache, just to explore what would work best on the final model. I have decided that the model will be made out of modroc instead of paper mache as it is more sturdy and I like using it.

In the above photos I have created a model of a floating island in inspiration of the artists in my research I made it from foamboard and covered it in modroc once it was dry I painted it using the dry brush method I learnt, then over the weekend I prepped the castle out of foam and painted it. Then covered it in model grass and added a few details such as the gravel and trees. I really enjoyed making this as it was so fun and different. I enjoyed the form and space in model.

Here are my final photos of my final pieces, these are the pieces of work that I would like to put up in my exhibition, throughout doing these pieces of work i have learnt a lot about how to use certain tools more safely than i had done previously, also how to experiment with the materials i have to hand, and how i can make it work.
